This is Paisley…what a sweetie and what a good baby. We ended up getting pictures of her awake, asleep and with her Mommy and Daddy. I had such a nice time with her parents and really enjoyed getting to know them. I will be seeing a lot more of them because they signed up for the Baby Plan and I couldn’t be more excited!

Choosing a canvas size

I have a new tool and I wanted to show what it can do! When choosing a size, a canvas size in this example, we often think that a 16×20 is going to look huge on our wall, only to order one and find out it really isn’t that big at all. This will allow me to show you how it might look once you get it home. This example is in a nursery however I have living room examples as well. This first picture is of a 16x2o canvas…looks pretty small…

This shows a 20×30 in size…

This will also allow me to do framed pictures as well as canvas and framed groupings of pictures. Let me know if you are needing help with a wall arrangement or choosing a size. Once you are investing in a piece of wall art, you want to make sure it will look its very best!

More pictures of Evie…this girl will not be short on pictures that is for sure. These were taken a while back when she was 4 months old. She was almost sitting up by herself then and she is doing that now. We are getting close to her 6 month pictures and I CAN’T WAIT! They were here last weekend and everytime I even just looked at her she smiled and squealed. We just love her and we are lucky we get to see her as often as we do since she lives in central Nebraska. So far we see her about once a month and we get in all the hugs and kisses we can in the time we have together. They day they left we were sitting at supper and Isabelle started crying. I asked her what was wrong and she said “I miss Evie.” Too sweet.

Olivia and Levi

This is Olivia and Levi. They were visiting from Minnesota and we were able to get a session in for Levi’s 2 year pictures. This poor little guy ended up getting sick the next day…was in the emergency room here twice before they left and ended up with pneumonia and a hospital stay when they returned home. Being in a hospital for days with a 2 year old hooked up to an IV would not be my idea of fun! I’m glad we scheduled the pictures the day we did, or they wouldn’t have happened!

Starrla…I hope your little guy is completely back to normal! See you next time!

Leah

This is Leah…I had to pull out all the stops with her to get a smile! I had to go get my daughter Izzie and have her come to make her smile. The only smiles we got were because Izzie was entertaining her so for once she got to be my assistant when I actually asked her to be!

Thank you Kathy for brining Leah! Maybe next time we won’t have to work so hard for smiles!

Aubrey

Aubrey came all the way back from the Denver area to have her pictures taken again…I love repeat customers…it is so nice to watch children and families grow and I have developed some really great relationships with my repeat clients. Aubrey is a busy girl…and so much fun. She had her Mommy run ragged by the time we were done.

This one makes me laugh…this girl isn’t afraid of anything!!

Berea Church

My church is having a celebration in November and they asked me to come up with a Save the Date magnet to send to all the church members. I love what I ended up capturing…it is such a cute little church…what a beautiful night it was.

Izzie and Maddi

These are just too fun…this is my daughter and my niece. It has become a tradition to have a sleepover and then have a photo shoot the next day and then I upload all the pictures into my slideshow program…add fun music and the kids LOVE to watch the results. The boys actually started this tradition and ever since we did it with them, Maddi has been dying to spend the night and do the same. I love it. They are so into it…they helped pick their outfits and the poses. There are so many fun and goofy ones as well as the few I will post here. I hope someday they all look back on having sleepovers and photoshoots. I sometimes put a lot of pressure on myself to have traditions for my kids to pass on someday…but the best ones are the ones that just happen…the ones that the kids come up with themselves. I am so blessed…

Macey and Kennedy

I have been taking pictures of these girls since Macey was a newborn and now Kennedy is turning 1! Kennedy is one of the smiliest babies I have ever taken pictures of. I don’t even have to pull out any tricks…I guess I”m just funny looking enough for her and she just looks at me and smiles. In this first one she was just about to pull this headband off…but I love the way her little hand is up there.

Thank you Melissa! Your girls are so fun…I’m so glad I get to see you every once in a while and capture those sweet smiles!!

Happy Easter from my kiddos…who are growing up WAY too fast!

My 4 month old niece was here the same weekend I did mini sessions so Evie got some pictures with the bunny as well. I absolutely love them all!

This picture just needs a caption…I’ve had a few suggestions. “It’s isn’t about you…it’s about Jesus” or “Ok, bunny I’m going to pee now but we are going to say you did it okay?” She actually did pee about 30 seconds after this so that one fits perfectly.

My mom gets so excited about pictures of all of her grandchildren. Mission accomplished!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday…Happy Easter from my kids, nieces and nephew!
