Senior season is in full swing…I have so many sessions to edit it is crazy! This is Garrett…

Very quiet…but very nice kid…

He has a really great serious look…

He was up for anything I wanted him to do…

He even leaned into tree branches that probably weren’t very comfortable but there were no complaints!

I love this one because he wanted to have a few with his sunglasses on his head…then I saw him this past weekend with his sunglasses on his head just like this so it is definitely “him”…

I really like this highway shot…the weather cooperated so nicely for us…a little cloudy and we were good to go!  If only they all could be like this one…

What a beautiful wedding…and a beautiful couple!

I love the way this one turned out during the ceremony…with the focus blurred on the bride and groom…

This wedding was in Chelsea’s parents’ yard here in Chappell…in 100 degree weather…it was a hot one!

Here is Chelsea with her best friend and maid of honor…

Matt is from England and they met through UTube.  I have never gotten emotional at a wedding before but I did at this one…maybe because I was standing so close to them during the ceremony or maybe because the love they have for each other is so visible…

Shortly after the wedding Matt had to return to England and wait for their paperwork to go through…I’m sure it has been really hard on both of them!

I’m actually lucky I made it to this wedding at all.  Chelsea’s mom called me a couple of weeks before they were getting married to see if I by chance had the date open.  I looked at my calendar and assumed I was looking at a Saturday and cleared 3 sessions so I could do the wedding.  I moved the other sessions to Sunday.  Then on Friday morning about 7:44 I got a call from Chelsea’s mom asking me if I was going to take pictures of her getting ready at the beauty shop.  I said yes of course at 7am tomorrow right?  She said no, the wedding is today!  Oh my gosh!!  After a small 5 minute panic attack, I gathered my things, got out of my PJ’s and headed to the beauty shop to start the day.  I was there by 8:00 so I think I did pretty good, especially since the wedding started at 9 am.  I am the kind of person who goes with the flow and doesn’t plan a whole lot and I often “fly by the seat of my pants” which in this case turned out to be a VERY good trait to have. 

I’m posting so many because Matt isn’t able to view the slideshows on his iphone and can’t get to a computer for a few days…so I wanted to show him as many as I could this way…

They are just so beautiful!

The flowers were so pretty…it was hard to pick one of the rings/flowers to share…

Congralutations Chelsea and Matt!  I wish you all the best and for the next 8 weeks to fly by so you can be together again!!

I was soooo excited to finally meet Miss Lily…for personal reasons rather than professional ones…

Lily is the daughter of my very best friend growing up…and the granddaughter of my OT boss…

This was my first official on location photography shoot where I did some shooting indoors…I am loving the way the natural light coming in the windows makes her eyes so sparkly!

Becca (Lily’s mommy) and her husband Eric live in the Washington DC area so we don’t get to see them very often…Eric’s grandmother made this dress for Lily and she couldn’t have been cuter in it!

And this was the first time I got to meet Lily…She is 5 months old…and I just love looking at these pictures because even though she bears a very strong resemblance to her Daddy, I can see so much of Becca in her too.  This was a bonnet that was worn by Becca’s grandfather when he was a baby…so cool!

She was pretty happy for her photo shoot…

And she is doing really well sitting up for only being 5 months old…we had to use things to sit her in because she isn’t completely sitting on her own yet but it won’t be long. 

So cute!

And I wanted to include one of her Mommy Becca as well…I have so many wonderful memories growing up with Becca and it was so special to get to meet her baby and spend some time with them. 

Congratulations Becca and Eric on your sweet baby girl and congrats to Cyndy and Tom as well.  You will be the coolest grandparents on earth!!

I have taken pictures of these boys before and they just keep getting more and more handsome…

This one is probably my favorite of the session…I love the way they are laughing with each other…

Ashtyn and Addisyn came back to see me and they are cuter than ever! 

Ashtyn is just so mellow and just did everything I asked her to…

And Addisyn is just full of life and spunk!

So adorable!  Addisyn has the biggest eyes that sparkle like no other!

These girls are like night and day, which exactly how my kiddos are so I was so amused to watch another set of siblings interact the same way.  All of Ashtyn’s pictures are perfect…she is smiling so pretty in all of them and Addisyn had several expressions in hers.  It’s nice to have one of each…the mellow one balances out the other.  I can’t imagine having 2 Izzie’s at my house!  Thank you Kathy for driving all the way here for pictures again.  I enjoyed our time together!!

More of my very loyal customers…they all hold a special place in my heart and I always work harder at getting my loyal customers scheduled in when they need to.  This is Brayden and this is how we started off our session…

But I never let that discourage me…we can always manage at least a few smiles…I think Brayden’s dad was spinning him around on my photography stool at this point but whatever works!

We ventured outside for a few but boys and outside sometimes don’t mix because there are way too many things to investigate and check out!

He did sit for a minute with his mom and dad for this shot…

I love whatever the plants are growing in the background with the rust color…

I love these boys!  Their parents are among my very loyal customers and I have taken their pictures several times…

Caden has that sparkle in his eye that I cannot resist!

I was so glad I was able to do this session for the Grandmother of these kids….

The older two were moving from Colorado to Florida in the next few days after our session together and I cannot imagine how hard that must be to have your grandchildren so far away from you…

I have taken Rhyder’s pictures since he was pee’ing on my props as a newborn!  He is looking so grown up now and is just getting cuter and cuter…

I love this shot…he wasn’t sure he wanted to smile…or even look at me…

…but it wasn’t long before we got this…

Then we headed out to feed the geese…

He was adorable with them!

Another senior I’ve known since she was born!  How old this makes me feel to be posting her senior pictures! 

We took a lot of photographs in my hometown of Lodgepole which was so fun!  This is the historic Opera House building…

I just love how Kris’s red hair pops!

Her coloring is perfect for outdoor locations…

We got some wheat field shots taken before it started to downpour…
