Sweet Baby Birkley

Saturday, July 16th, 2011

This is Birkley…such a cute name for such a cute baby!

She wasn’t sure she wanted to sleep but our patience won out and she sacked out.

Love these colors…

She woke up for a little bit but was really mellow so got some great shots with her eyes open too!

Here a Birkley and Mommy shot…

And here she is with her Daddy Bruce.  I went to high school with Bruce and it was so fun to see him hold his baby girl…well until she pee’d on him…he wasn’t impressed with that…you would have thought it was poison!

Thank you so much Kortney!  I am honored to be taking Birkley’s first year of memories…

Fun boys…

Saturday, July 16th, 2011

This was such a fun session with some really fun boys…

Dillon was exactly sure he wanted to take pictures but he warmed up…and it helped that his mom kept “going to the car to get his milk”.  I remember the days my little ones were attached at my hip…they go away so fast…

It was raining the morning of our photo shoot but we took advantage of a break in the rain to get some outdoor shots…Connor is such a handsome little guy…

And big brother Bennett is wonderful to his little brothers…

My favorite of the day…

I don’t even remember what was so funny but I love the way they are laughing in this shot…

Brothers have such a great bond…

Thanks Josie for driving all the way here in the rain!  I had such a good time with your boys.  Hope to see you soon!

Allie

Saturday, July 16th, 2011

Allie is 3 months old already…I took her newborn pictures and she is growing so fast…

She looks like she is just going to get up and go somewhere…

What a cutie pie…

This one is my favorite…

She wore this dress as a newborn too…and it fits much better this time around!

Thank you Candice.  You have a sweet baby girl…hope to see you again really soon!

Big family…

Saturday, July 16th, 2011

I was so glad I could fit this family in my studio as the wind was blowing as usual the day of our session…

I’ve taken Courtney’s family pictures before but these kiddos are from Texas so it was the first time I met them…

What sweet siblings…

Here’s Henry…the last thing he wanted to do that day was smile at me but we did manage one little grin…

Love this serious shot…

And a serious shot of his little sister Ruby to go with Henry’s…

Thank you Courtney!  It was so nice to meet your brother’s family and your parents as well.  I’m sure you enjoyed your time together.

And three days later…

Saturday, July 16th, 2011

Three days after this session, Breanna gave birth to a little boy…she certainly doesn’t look 9 months pregnant.

She is beautiful…

Breanna’s husband was home for 2 weeks to be here for the baby’s birth and then he had to go back to Afganistan…

I cannot imagine how that must feel for either one of them but hopefully he will be home soon and they can all be together.

Is that the cutest pregnant belly or what?

So sweet…

Thank you so much Breanna!  I can’t wait to meet your little guy!

Logan

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

Logan is from Kansas and I’ve taken her photographs once before It was so nice to have her back in my studio again!

Too cute…

Those blue eyes are just beautiful…

She looks like this is really fun…but what she actually thought was funny was that her mom put her back on that couch many many times…and then she would laugh and get up and run.  I caught her this time before she was on the go.

She was looking at her Mommy in this shot…

She looks so small in front of this door…

And one more in the flowers…she was way over having her picture taken at this point…you have to work fast with this age!

Thanks Jan for brining your sweet Logan back to me again.  Good luck with Baby #2.  Logan will be such a good big sister!

Campbell

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

I’ve been taking Campbell’s pictures since he was a newborn and I fall in love with that red hair all over again every time I see him.

Campbell wasn’t thinking that pictures were on his agenda but we got a few anyway…

He’s too cute…he loves Buzz Lightyear and I am well versed on that subject since my kids love all the Toy Story characters so that worked for a little while.  I happened to have some Toy Story stickers so he was way into that.

Probably my favorite shot…

A family shot…we figured maybe if Jeff and Julie were holding his hands he couldn’t get away quite so fast…

What a nice little family…

Thanks Jeff and Julie.  I really enjoy you guys every time and Campbell is great!  All boy…and way cute!  I look forward to seeing you again.

Tim and Sarah

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

This is Tim and Sarah…I will be photographing their wedding in August…

It will be an outdoor wedding and with the crazy weather this summer who knows what will happen…

We had to postpone this session because the night we had scheduled it, the weather got really nasty.  The next night it was raining when they got here but we didn’t let that stop us…

The rain did stop or at least was reduced to a mist for a while so we could complete our session…

But since it was so cloudy I was able to use a spot I don’t normally because the sun shines on it too brightly…

There is a bridge Tim and Sarah want to be able to use when they get married for pictures, but with all the flooding they are hoping it can be saved…I hope so too!

Rain is good luck for weddings…we will take the rain for the engagement session and it can hold off on the actual wedding day…

I really do love the clouds in these shots…

Thanks Tim and Sarah.  I look forward to capturing your big day!

Heath and Kylee

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

I’m finally getting some things posted..hopefully there will be a lot more to come.  I did Heath and Kylee’s wedding back in May.  What a fun couple and what a fun day!

Some detail shots..

I love this one…the anticipation…

Heath is a fireman so of course we had to have some shots on a firetruck.  The wind was blowing 50 miles an hour in Cheyenne that day so we had to settle for using the firetruck in the parking lot of the church so we could block the wind a little bit…

They are such a cute couple…

Now there’s a guy who isn’t afraid to dip his girl…

Love the first kiss shot…and how everyone is clapping.

We got a few shots after the wedding in the park when the wind wasn’t quite so strong…

I love how this structure frames them…

We did this shot because we did a shot very similar to this one for their engagement session…

Love Kylee’s expression…

And a shot on the trolly…they invited me along and we got some fun pictures driving around Cheyenne.  This wedding party was more than cooperative and up for anything I wanted to do.

Thanks Heath and Kylee!  You had a wonderful day and I’m so glad I got to capture it!
