I love these kiddos and this family!

We’ve been trying to take picture of this little guy for a while now but the poor little sweetie has been in and out of the hospital so much we haven’t gotten it done…until now.

We decided when he was in the hospital over New Years that as soon as they arrived home I would come to their house for a photo shoot since Colton can’t be out and about due to germs, etc.

This is Colton’s beautiful sister Paige…

She is so sweet to him…

Kelly is so beautiful…and such a strong Mommy…she is an inspiration to me and Colton is so lucky to have her…I actually got to take these pictures on Colton’s 2nd birthday…and made it through the snowstorm to their house…I was going to get there no matter what…we had waited long enough!

I love this one of John and Kelly…they recently celebrated their 1 year anniversary…

P.S. If you haven’t seen your pictures on my blog…you will…still catching up and I was really preoccupied for the past few weeks with getting my new studio ready and shooting a wedding in between.  My open house was a huge success and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the turnout!  Everyone received print credits and I look forward to seeing you all to cash them in!

So I am still playing catch-up on my blog.  These were taken way before Christmas…this was such a fun family!

I met Michelle through my other career and I think the world of her…she is fantastic at what she does…

Her kids are so much fun!  They sang me a whole song…that I later You Tubed because it was just too funny not to…here’s to that Christmas donkey guys…

Dru wasn’t too sure about pictures at first but then we ended the session like this…I love his smile!

And Kollyn seems to be the perfect big sister…taking care of everyone…

I could photograph these kiddos every day.  I know I shouldn’t admit to having favorites but August is my favorite…I just can’t help it. 

He always has something to add to his mom’s emails…he loves to tell me what he’s been up to and he sometimes plays “photographer”.  What a kid!

And Ruby’s not far behind him…what a personality she has…

Everytime we told her to smile, she winked at us…it was a riot!

We made it outside for a few shots too even though the wind was blowing as usual!  My favorite part of this shot is his boots and his jeans tucked into one! 

And the whole family…I think Roxy and I could have been cut from the same cloth…we are so much alike in so many ways and I have really enjoyed getting to know her over the past couple of years as I have photographed her children…

As always I had a blast with you guys!  I can’t wait to see you again!

I’ve taken Delanie and Jayce’s pictures for a few years now.  It’s so fun to watch the children I photograph grow and change over the years…

I love that little grin of Jayce’s.  It almost looks like he is having a little fun!

We went outside for a change of pace…every year this family comes it is raining so we had to take advantage of the dry weather this time…

I love when I can get a big smile out of Delanie…

They seem to get along so well…I’m sure that isn’t always the case but they are so polite and well behaved when I am around them!

These kinds of shots are my favorite…it’s about the relationship between them and nothing else…

Tara is another senior from Ogallala.  We had a horrible time making our schedules match up and then the day we scheduled it was sooo cold…but we toughed it out and it worked out just fine…

She is such a confident teenager…I don’t know if you can teach that or not but that is what I want for my daughter.  I am not a confident person and I am always second guessing myself and worrying about what other people think about me…it’s getting better as I get older but I want Izzie to always be okay with the person she is…I hope that the sign I have in my kids’ bathroom sinks in…it says “Be Yourself…Everyone Else is Taken.”  Love it!

I love when babies start to realize they have feet and go for them…

She looks so big and grown up in this one!
