Oh my gosh…what a cute baby little Miss Avery is!

She wasn’t sure she wanted to sleep  but as long as we had the space heater blowing on her…she fell fast asleep…

This is Avery’s blanket…I love it when I can use something special to the baby and family…

Carter, Avery’s big brother, is 2 and really didn’t want to hold his sister long enough to get a shot…but he did kiss her and this is my favorite of the day…

This is the 2nd summer I have taken photographs of this group! 

They had ordered Husker jerseys for all the kids but they didn’t come in so they adapted!

Olivia came back again all the way from Minnesota and this time she brought her baby brother Levi with her…

Olivia is really growing up!  Her grandmother lives in Chappell so they come visit for a good chunk of time in the summer…

Levi, like most 4 month olds really likes his hands in his mouth and I got this one right before he got them up there…

This might be my favorite…it didn’t take long to poop him out and he started sucking his thumb…so cute!

I have had so many cool seniors this year!  Weston is no exception…

He is really into football and we incorporated that a lot into his pictures…

There were too many to choose from so I am posting a lot!!

Weston had some ideas of where he wanted pictures and I loved EVERY one of them!!

Corn, a tractor and a football…how much more Nebraskan can you get?

Weston was so much fun because he was up for anything!

A few weeks ago, I traveled to Scottsbluff for this session.  It was probably my most challenging session as far as lighting is concerned.  We did this in the morning and the sun could not have been brighter in places where we had no shade so I had to deal with back-lighting the whole time.

This is at Lake Minitare not far from their cabin…I loved the area we found with trees…partly because we had some shade…but partly because they were just really cool!

The scenery at this lake is pretty cool…

The other pictures they really wanted were from their backyard with the bluffs in the background…

I loved these colorful sweaters!

I have photographed this family many times…through senior pictures…family pictures…and 2 weddings…

I love their idea of very formal dresses, etc. outside on the farm…

I cannot believe we got any pictures the night we took these…when I left my house the wind was blowing and gusting and it was starting to rain…

When we pulled up to Roy and Wendy’s place, it was still blowing and I had no idea what we were going to do…

But within 10 minutes the wind all but stopped and the rain held off.  I love the clouds in this picture!

Thank you Roy and Wendy for once again putting your faith in me to capture your family memories!  As always, I enjoyed our time together!!

This is Hope…

This girl is soooo photogenic!

I had a great time at our session together…

But then again how can you NOT enjoy photographing a beautiful girl like Hope?

She had some spots picked out and I loved every one of them!

It was impossible to just pick a few favorites!

And it was even harder to pick which ones to edit…they were all good!

I think this one might be my favorite…
