Avery

Friday, September 10th, 2010

Oh my gosh…what a cute baby little Miss Avery is!

blog1

She wasn’t sure she wanted to sleep  but as long as we had the space heater blowing on her…she fell fast asleep…

blog2

This is Avery’s blanket…I love it when I can use something special to the baby and family…

blog7

Carter, Avery’s big brother, is 2 and really didn’t want to hold his sister long enough to get a shot…but he did kiss her and this is my favorite of the day…

blog3

This is Taren, Avery’s beautiful Mommy…

blog6

Look at those cute little feet!

blog4

She is going to have her Daddy wrapped around her little finger…

blog5

Thank you Ryan and Taren.  I’m so excited you are on my Baby Plan and I will get to watch little Avery grow.  She is precious!

This is the 2nd summer I have taken photographs of this group!

They had ordered Husker jerseys for all the kids but they didn’t come in so they adapted!

blog9

This is Jared, Brennan and Jace…

blog10

And here is Brady and Brittney…

blog11

And McKenna and Mason…

blog12

I love this little Jace…he is so quiet…and so cute…

blog13

I really like this “boy” shot…

blog14

Thank you Lori, Jill and Stacey for driving your kiddos to see me again.  Maybe the jerseys will be in by the next time we get together!

Olivia and Levi

Friday, September 10th, 2010

Olivia came back again all the way from Minnesota and this time she brought her baby brother Levi with her…

blog7

Olivia is really growing up!  Her grandmother lives in Chappell so they come visit for a good chunk of time in the summer…

blog4

blog3

What a cutie…

blog5

Levi, like most 4 month olds really likes his hands in his mouth and I got this one right before he got them up there…

blog2

This might be my favorite…it didn’t take long to poop him out and he started sucking his thumb…so cute!

blog6

Thank you Marge and Starrla for coming back again!  I hope Olivia has a great year in school!

Weston

I have had so many cool seniors this year!  Weston is no exception…

blog9

He is really into football and we incorporated that a lot into his pictures…

blog3

blog5

There were too many to choose from so I am posting a lot!!

blog2

Weston had some ideas of where he wanted pictures and I loved EVERY one of them!!

blog1

Corn, a tractor and a football…how much more Nebraskan can you get?

blog4

Weston was so much fun because he was up for anything!

blog6

I love how the sun is coming through the trees on this one!

blog7

We snuck the football in yet again…

blog8

And finally his sports storyboard…I love doing these…

blog10

Thank you Weston for all of your great spots and for being such a fun subject to photograph!  Good luck with your senior year!

Scottsbluff Family

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

A few weeks ago, I traveled to Scottsbluff for this session.  It was probably my most challenging session as far as lighting is concerned.  We did this in the morning and the sun could not have been brighter in places where we had no shade so I had to deal with back-lighting the whole time.

blog1

What cute sisters!

blog4

Here’s one of just Taylor…

blog2

This is at Lake Minitare not far from their cabin…I loved the area we found with trees…partly because we had some shade…but partly because they were just really cool!

blog8

This is one of my favorites of the day…

blog3

The scenery at this lake is pretty cool…

blog5

The other pictures they really wanted were from their backyard with the bluffs in the background…

blog7

I loved these colorful sweaters!

blog6

Thank you Angela for waiting so long for these…while I try to unbury myself…it was really nice to meet you and your family!

Fun Family

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

I have photographed this family many times…through senior pictures…family pictures…and 2 weddings…

blog2

I love their idea of very formal dresses, etc. outside on the farm…

blog5

I cannot believe we got any pictures the night we took these…when I left my house the wind was blowing and gusting and it was starting to rain…

blog3

When we pulled up to Roy and Wendy’s place, it was still blowing and I had no idea what we were going to do…

blog4

But within 10 minutes the wind all but stopped and the rain held off.  I love the clouds in this picture!

Thank you Roy and Wendy for once again putting your faith in me to capture your family memories!  As always, I enjoyed our time together!!

But then again how can you NOT enjoy photographing a beautiful girl like Hope?

blog3

She had some spots picked out and I loved every one of them!

blog5

blog6

It was impossible to just pick a few favorites!

blog7

And it was even harder to pick which ones to edit…they were all good!

blog8

I think this one might be my favorite…

blog9

Thank you Hope for such a wonderful session!   Good luck with your senior year!!
