Happy Valentine’s Day!

Monday, February 15th, 2010

I wanted to share the card we sent out of my kids and my niece and nephew.  They actually kind of cooperated this time!

This is the front…

I have a bunch of sessions I am currently working on.  Isabelle is still not feeling well after she had her tonsils and adenoids out a week and a half ago so the weekend didn’t bring as much editing as I had hoped.  If you are waiting, I will be done soon!

Campbell

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

Seems like Campbell was just here for his newborn pictures but I guess it must have been 4 months ago because that is how old he is now.  The last few months have been a blur…we had our big trip over Christmas, I was out with pneumonia and bronchitis last month, my kids have both had bronchitis, and Isabelle just had her tonsils and adenoids out along with her 2nd set of ear tubes put in today.  I’m sure we are in for a rough couple of days ahead.

But when I look at these pictures I can’t help but smile.  Campbell was really talking to me…

Pretty strong for 4 months old…

He is laying on a blanket his grandma quilted for him…I love that kind of stuff!

We didn’t get as many shots as normal because Campbell decided he was done and would rather have a nap but we did our best and we got some cute shots.  Thank you Jeff and Julie for bringing your sweet boy back again.   I hope to see you again soon!

DisneyWorld

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

Some of my friends and family have been anxiously awaiting these Disney pics.  My whole family including my mom and dad, sister and her family, brother and his wife, my aunt, and my in-laws went to DisneyWorld in Florida for a week over Christmas.  We had a blast and although Disney is magical anytime…it maybe isn’t as magical when the parks are at capacity with people.  Isabelle kept saying “Mom…there’s a lot of people in here!”  Boy was she right!!

The castle all lit up was my favorite part…

The kids loved the parades…they could have watched the same parade everyday…I think the parades were the highlight for my niece Madison…

My dad loved the life size tin soldiers…

What a wonderful place to spend Christmas!

The kids were really into getting autographs from the characters…

But they were definitely the highlight for Isabelle…she would hug them and hug them until we practically had to pull her off of them.

She absolutely loved them and squealed each time we saw someone new.  When Ethan was 2 we went to DisneyWorld and he wanted very little to do with the characters and was very shy but not Isabelle…her reaction to Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald was the highlight of my trip and made it all worth it!

My heart overflows…

The highlight for the boys was all the roller coasters they went on.  Ethan was barely tall enough to go on them and I think the first time we went on one which was Space Mountain (a roller coaster completely in the dark!), he might have wished he were 1/2 inch shorter but he went on all the roller coasters and they had a blast.  This is in front of one in the Animal Kingdom.  The boys had been asking my mom to go on one for days and she finally gave in on this one.  It made her sick and Andie and I did agree that it was the worst one for motion sickness we went on.  Sorry Mom!

At a parade at Hollywood Studios, my dad was picked out of the crowd to dance…we were all shocked when he actually did it and we have a ton of pictures to remember this!

Another highlight for everyone was the ice cream shaped like Mickey’s head…the girls really enjoyed them…
