I had the pleasure of photographing my neighbor and good friend’s parents when they were here visiting from Louisiana recently. 

It is always strange when I have a session where the subjects sit still and look right at me…I almost don’t know how to act! 

I hope I look half this good when I’m their age…

We snuck in a few on the white background because they make such good black and whites…

And put all together into a storyboard…

What a fun family…

Because of Amelia mostly…we did a lot of giggling because of her!

Just love this one!  She had to use her hands to keep all those giggles in…

It is so nice to get Mommy pictures.  I am rarely in pictures with my kids because I am always behind the camera and I know it is the same case with this mom! 

And I really like this one of a Daddy and his little boy…

What a dolly!  Jamisyn’s birthday is December 23rd so one year pictures are sooo fun!

I love love love all the Christmas balls…

We wrapped her in lights and for a while she just wanted to eat the bulbs…

I love the look on her face in this picture…it’s like she is saying to us…”What a silly idea to wrap me up in lights and then plug me in!

The Christmas ordering deadline is Sunday December 6th so if you want your orders back in time for the holidays, now is the time to get those in!  You can always order after this date, however priority will be given to orders in before December 6th and I can’t promise you will have prints back by Christmas if you order after Sunday.  And just because posts without pictures are no fun, I will leave you with the Christmas photo session I had with my kids and my niece and nephew.  This is about how the whole thing went…well no-one is having a meltdown in this picture and each of them had their turn at that.  I swear…I don’t know why I can take a good picture of every other child…just not my own.  They all get together and all you-know-what breaks loose!  I wasn’t laughing that day but I am giggling now as I go through them.  Maybe we should just put the nose picking pictures on our cards this year…

I took Ava’s 6 month shots and now she’s a big girl!  She turned one today…well at least I think it’s still today!  I’ve been burning the midnight oil to say the least with Christmas orders, etc.   I had a lot of fun with Ava during our time together…she is so sweet.

This is the cutest thing I’ve seen for a long time.  We put her in the trunk and she wanted out and so this is what she did to her mom and dad…so sweet!  How can you not pick her up when she does that?  Needless to say the trunk didn’t last long because no-one could resist her request…

She brought birthday balloons along and we got a ton of cute shots with them but this one is my favorite…

And no one-year-old shoot is complete without a cake!  Jocelyn Wieser made this cake and it looks wonderful…just like all her cakes do. 

Thank you Tony and Jenn for brining Ava back and allowing me to capture her one year memories!  She reminds me so much of Izzie at that age…in fact I am looking at her cake storyboard right now and it is so similar…right down to the pigtail on top of her head!  Love it!
