Kendra

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

This is Kendra.  I know her through both of my job capacities and she’s a pretty special little girl!

kendra4

Her Mommy and Daddy both got in on the action this time!  I can’t believe Kendra is 1 already…seems like I just took her 6 month pictures…

kendra3

Can’t tell she loves her Daddy!

kendra5

A moment with Mommy…

kendra1

This picture just makes me smile!

kendra2

Allie has a frame that she wanted to put pictures in that says this same thing but I thought it would make a cute storyboard too!

kendra6

Thanks Travis and Allie for being patient while I finished these up

Iraq Bound

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

I work with Chris and she wanted to bring her family for pictures since her son Michael was leaving for Iraq the next week.

vian6

I can’t imagine sending my son off to that kind of a situation and my heart goes out to Chris’s family and every family who has to go through this…

vian2

I think emotions are running strong and this picture kind of says it all…

vian3

vian4

This family is always joking around and having fun so this picture is so them…

vian5

I always love these shots…

vian1

Good luck Michael while you are away in Iraq.  My thoughts and prayers are with you for your safe return.

Josie

This is my good friend Darci’s little girl Josie, who is only a week older than my Izzie.  These pictures were taken quite a while ago, but being the good friend she is, Darci has been very patient with me while I worked on everyone else’s sessions.

josie1

Josie is such a happy little girl…

josie7

Her sisters Abbie and Emma got in on the action too and this one turned out so well…

josie3

Josie has personality coming out of her ears!  She is so fun!!

josie4

My brown pettiskirt looks awesome with Josie’s red hair…

josie2

josie5

And the blue brings out her eyes…

josie6

This is so Josie…love it!

josie8

Thanks for being patient with me Darc!

Lexi

Monday, September 21st, 2009

I just returned from the Professional Photographer’s of Nebraska Fall conference the past 3 days and learned a ton but now it’s back to the grind.  I have to switch gears for the rest of the week and be an Occupational therapist but  I’m also going to work really hard this week to get things caught up…

Lexi is turning one!  It seems like a few months ago I was taking her newborn photos.  How fast time flies…

lexi2

What a sweet little face to go with her sweet little outfit!

lexi7

She wouldn’t touch her cake, which was just fine with her Daddy because he wanted it to stay nice for her party later that day…this usually does not happen but Lexi left it alone and it looked just as good after pictures as it did before.

lexi3

I am really loving my “antique” background…

lexi6

I’m thinking all this little girl is going to have to do when she’s in trouble is give her parents this look because I don’t know how you can resist this one…

lexi5

She has such pretty eyes…

lexi1

And the famous bucket shot to keep her in one spot for a few seconds at a time…works like a charm!

lexi4

Thank you Mark and Andrea for allowing me to photograph Lexi’s one year memories!

Kash

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

Kash is SOOO adorable and I have been looking so forward to taking his 6 month photos!  I enjoyed every minute of it!

kash1

kash3

I don’t know that I have ever had such a smiley baby in front of my camera…

kash6

I am LOVING my new background and Kash could not be cuter in his Daddy’s cowboy hat…

kash8

kash2

kash7

What a gorgeous family!

kash4

I edited all these pictures and then when I watched the slideshow and got to these I started to cry…I just feel so old…I used to babysit Kelly…and if Kash gets into 1/2 the stuff his Mommy did when she was little, he will keep everyone on their toes!

kash5

Love this little cowboy!

kash9

Thanks Nate and Kelly for bringing Kash for his 6 month pictures.  I had so much fun with him.  So adorable!!! You have a wonderful family!

Filling up

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

I just wanted to get it out there that I am pretty much full through October.  I do have a Saturday date in November that I will be doing mini-sessions for Christmas cards, etc. but I will not be doing any pictures past that date until 2010 unless you are on my baby plan or are expecting a newborn, etc.  I won’t be doing regular family sessions past November 7th.  If you have already talked to me about doing a session and we just haven’t nailed down a date yet, no worries…I will get you worked in.  Also, for all my Kearney families, I will be there October 17th for sessions!  Yay!  I can’t wait…I always have so much fun with my Kearney families!  Thank you for your understanding through my busy couple of months!

Augie

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

Phew…I have been so far behind lately and my caseload at school is crazy so I am breathing through a straw at this point but I’m determined to not let it get to me.  This is Augie…he won the free session I gave at the South Platte Post Prom party this past year.

augie2

We took his saxophone outside for some lake shots…

augie5

augie3

The serious look is very hard for Augie…he just naturally has a smile on  his face…

augie4

Augie brought his cousin along and he had a hard time not busting out laughing at her most of the time…

augie1

Augie loves to smile and laugh…

augie6

This storyboard is different than any I’ve done before…I’ve never done one with a musical theme…

augie7

Thanks Augie!  I had a good time with you and Shannon at your session!  Good luck with your senior year!

Dustin and Jamie

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009

Jamie is a cousin of my husband’s and she has been waiting patiently during my very busy last half of summer for me to get these done…sorry to keep you waiting!

j8

They got married at Dustin’s family’s place right outside Sidney…

j5

If there’s an old building to take pictures in front, you can be sure I’ll find it!

j6

I think Jamie looks so beautiful in this shot…

j4

j7

This is Dustin’s nephew, the ringbearer…what a cutie!

j2

This is one of my favorite shots of the day…

j1

So cute…

j3

Enjoy your pictures Jamie…that’s the trouble with being family…you have to wait a little longer!
