Hilary’s family

Friday, August 7th, 2009

I had a session with Hilary, her husband and boys last summer so when she contacted me about doing another session this year I was excited…

hilary6

This time she brought her whole family!  I really enjoy doing big family pictures because very few of us do this often enough…

hilary1

It was kind of funny when we started this session because Hilary’s mom is a teacher I know through working in Ogallala Public Schools and she had no idea I was the one that would be taking the pictures and I had no idea she was Hilary’s mom!  We were very surprised to see each other!!

hilary5

Boys will always be goofy if you ask them to…

hilary4

The pyramid…doesn’t Mason look cute on top?

hilary3

And a great shot of the grandkids!

hilary2

Thank you Hilary for bringing your family for pictures!  I enjoyed it!

Matt and Jennifer

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

I will be photographing Matt and Jennifer’s wedding in October and we were lucky enough to squeeze engagement pictures in while they were home from Lincoln for a wedding.

jennifer2

We had to take these pictures pretty early in the morning but it was a beautiful day and all went well…

jennifer3

Weddings are starting to be fun for me since I’ve gained more experience with them, so I”m excited to photograph theirs…

jennifer6

Plus they are getting married in the same church that I did!

jennifer4

They seem so happy together…

jennifer5

They were sports with all of the places I wanted to go…

Thank you Matt and Jennifer.  I look forward to capturing your special day!

Elizabeth and Ella

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

I have taken these girls pictures several times and they make me laugh every time…

whiting2

Ella is so pretty…she wasn’t sure about having her picture taken at first but she eventually warmed up…

whiting1

Love this one…

whiting3

Elizabeth is a funny girl and it is sometimes a challenge to get her to not play tricks while we are taking pictures…she definately has fun whatever she is doing…

whiting6

I think this is my favorite of the session…I am just loving my  new  hats!

whiting5

This was shortly after Elizabeth pulled Ella’s hat over her face…she’s always good for a laugh!

whiting4

The new kitty George even got in on the action…whether he liked it or not!

whiting7

Thank you Sarah for bringing the girls back again!

Matt, Kelli, Austin and Kendall

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

We got a ton of really great shots from this session so I couldn’t choose which ones to put on here…there are a lot!

soucie7

soucie2

Matt and Austin are really into their motorcycles so I was glad to get some shots with what they enjoy!

soucie1

I just love this shot!

soucie5

Matt and Kelli had quite a few pictures of just them…I tend to forget about doing that during a family shoot but I really should make it a habit to do at least one every time.

soucie6

A friend let us use her yard for a few shots…it is beautiful!

soucie4

soucie9

And we had to get some “cool” shots too…

soucie8

soucie3

How neat that Austin’s motorcycle gear matches Kendall’s dance outfit…This worked out perfectly!

soucie10

Thank you Matt and Kelli.  I really enjoyed our time together!

Cameron

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Cameron came for senior pictures and is the perfect example of a good old Nebraska country boy.  We took a lot of pictures at his farm and I love it when I can photograph where seniors are most comfortable…

cameron1

cameron2

There were some great spots at Cameron’s farm…

cameron5

Cameron has a great “serious look”…

cameron6

And his smile is nice too…

cameron8

Cameron is also the quarterback on the football team…

cameron3

The Husker shirt and the wheat field couldn’t go together any better!

cameron7

Huskers, tractors, a farm, a wheatfield and a quarterback…how Nebraska!!!

cameron4

And finally Cameron’s sports storyboard…I love doing these.  The sports ones are my favorite!

cameron9

Thank you Cameron!  I had a great time taking your pictures!!
