Matthew is 4 months old and cute as can be!

Such a happy little guy…

And strong too…a lot of babies at this age can push up but they aren’t smiling when they do because it is such hard work!

I just love all of his smiles! He didn’t make me work too hard for them…

And those big blue eyes could melt anyone’s heart…

This is his handsome look…

And finally his storyboard…when I work with babies like this one it makes me want to have another one but then I just have to remind myself what they are like when they are two…haha!

It was nice to meet you Niki and your little guy is precious!

I have had the pleasure of taking Emmalyn’s newborn, 1 year and now 2 year pictures. It is so fun to look back at the images from previous sessions and see how they have grown! This first one is my favorite!

When Emma first got here, she wasn’t the least bit sure she wanted to have her picture taken. After we played blocks for a while she warmed up…

I love this image as well…hard to pick a favorite.

She is at the age where she has a ton of facial expressions! We were able to capture a few of those…

So cute! After playing with the blocks, she really wanted them in every shot…which was fine with me if it produced some smiles!

And finally one with her mom and dad. By this point, I was bribing her with suckers and so she has that in the picture with her…at least it wasn’t in her mouth for this shot!

Thank you Glen and Nikki. You have an adorable family!

I have had several requests over the past couple of years to have Easter mini sessions and it has just never worked out with my schedule…but this year my niece Madison is getting a pet bunny so I decided to go for it. I will have Easter mini sessions on Saturday March 20th. Sessions will be 15-20 minutes in length. The package (3-5 images to choose from) will include the session and your choice of 4 units for $110. One unit would be 8 wallets, 2-5×7 prints, 1-8×10 print, 25 cards, or a 5×10 mini storyboard. You can choose your units in any combination so if you would like to use your 4 units on 100 cards, you can do that. Contact me through email to set up your appointment!

This is the 4th time I have taken Macey’s pictures and I totally enjoy her every time. She gave me lots of exercise this time…as she had her own agenda as most 1 1/2 year olds do…

She brought her monkey along and we didn’t get too many shots without him in them but I love her monkey! So cute!

What a smile…this little girl is full of spirit and spunk!

This was as still as she sat the whole time…she was determined to get those boots on herself…and she did…they were just on the wrong feet.
She loves her monkey…and her monkey boots!

What beautiful eyes!

Just had the share the storyboard…

Thank you Derek and Melissa for being a part of my photography family. I have enjoyed each and every session with you and I hope to see you again soon!

Okay, I need to brag just a little…I just took these pictures of my kiddos because I always get caught up in taking pictures and trying new things with everyone else so I took the time to do some with my own kids.

They are actually touching each other and no-one is screaming…WOW! I see now I didn’t quite get the spot of hair covered that she decided to cut off herself last week but it will remind us of when she did that. I’m surprised it took her this long to do something like that and I’m surprised it wasn’t much worse.

Izzie has so much personality which shows through in this look for sure…

I love these next 2…they are my favorites!

I think Ethan looks really nice in his pink shirt…even though he said to me “Mom, do you really want me to put on that pink shirt?” Wait until he finds out his Easter shirt is purple!

Izzie was not necessarily cooperating with me by this time but I actually love this shot…she insisted on laying on the floor instead of sitting up so we went with and I’m really happy with the way it turned out.

I’ve wanted to take a picture with her rain stuff forever…can’t ever seem to remember when it is actually raining so before she outgrows it we got a few!

I have been quite busy for February which is typically a slower month. Thank you to all my clients for booking sessions! I love what I do!! I have 4 sessions to hopefully get edited before the weekend. We are taking our kids skiing for Spring Break. I hope I don’t end up in the emergency room!

Owen has to be one of my favorites…he’s been coming to see me since he was 6 months old and I love him more and more every time he is here. He is so stinkin cute and he has such a cute personality…

And here he is with his twin brothers, Will and Ben…

Ben was really smiley at the beginning of our session and Will wasn’t…but

As I’m sure always happens with twins and a 3 year old, things changed and then Ben decided it was okay to have his picture taken…

It’s always okay with Owen to have his taken…I could just eat him up!

And the twins with their 1st birthday cakes…they liked to eat the candles better than the frosting…go figure!

Thank you so much Paul and Maria. I love your boys and I cannot imagine how busy you must be. You handle the unpredictibilty of 3 small children with such grace! Happy Birthday Ben and Will!

I took Tate’s pictures when he was one and now I got the chance to take his little sister Blakelyn’s pictures at that age too! They came all the way from Haxtun in a snowstorm and I’m so glad they did. How adorable is this little boy?

And here is his little sister…

Too darn cute…

I love this one…it’s my favorite!

Blakelyn got right out on my white paper…some kids are afraid of it at first but not her…she jumped right in!

And she gave me this adorable look when she realized I was actually taking her picture! Love it!

And the whole family…I really like how they coordinated clothing….plus I recognized the kid’s clothes right away as coming from Children’s Place. I seem to be ordering a lot of things from there lately…

Thank you Kelly and Sara for bringing your two sweeties to me on bad roads. I’m glad you made it safely!

I can’t believe Kash is one already! I took his 6 month pictures…where did the time go?

I just love shots when kids are looking down or away from me…they are so genuine…

He is smiling with his whole face!

What a beautiful family…

Love this expression too!

Little baby teeth coming in are the best! Not so much when they are making kids cranky but seeing those 2 little teeth on the bottom is so adorable…

And here is Kash with his birthday cake. He didn’t tear into it too much and stayed pretty clean! I do really like that the cake was frosted with small pieces of fondant added to it. The fondant covered cakes look amazing but 1 year olds really do have a hard time tearing into them and most of them don’t like to eat the fondant so this kind of cake would make for really good messy cake shots…Kash just wasn’t into getting very messy that day!

Thanks Nate and Kelly. I enjoyed my time with you. You have a wonderful little family!

Kassidy is the 3rd little girl to join this family and they are just as cute as can be!

Kassidy was not into sleeping for our session so we just went with it. Her eyes are so sweet in this shot…

I’ve got to give this mom tons of credit. I think I’m busy…she has a 2 year old, a 1 year old and now a new baby. She’s got to be some sort of Wonder Woman!

Love this one…

I just love the way Kassidy is looking at me in this one…

It is usually hard to get newborns to look right at you but she did it the whole time…as long as she didn’t have to close her eyes she would have looked at me all day!

Thank you Trevor and Amie. It was nice to see you again as always!

Two seniors in February seems crazy but we got it accomplished. I need to take some senior shots of Shelby, our foreign exchange student from Australia one of these days soon…so maybe I’ll make it 3 this month!

Shannon is from South Platte and I have gotten to know some of those kids pretty well this year so it is really fun to take their pictures!

Shannon was really tough out in the cold…I had snow boots and a coat on and you couldn’t tell by looking at these that she was cold at all!

This is still one of my favorite senior picture spots…

I had a hard time narrowing down Shannon’s pictures to edit because she is really photogenic.

I really like this black and white…

I love the colors in these…Shannon’s clothing choices were perfect!

Thanks Shannon! It won’t be long and you will be graduating!!
